Kindergarten Round-Up


All incoming kindergarten parents must complete pre-registration and schedule an appointment prior to your round-up date.  

You will need to create an account for Infosnap to pre-register and schedule for your round-up appointment.  If you have previously used Infosnap to register a student at ZCS, you can log in and use that account to add your new student.  When signing up for your appointment time, you will need to advance the calendar to the date listed on the website for your school.

Inclement Weather Notifications 

In the event of delay or cancellation of school this winter, parents and employees of ZCS will be notified via our email message service, SMS text, and automated phone call. Local TV stations will be notified of our situation as well.  If you have requested that your cell phone number be added to our emergency contact system for text messages and did not receive one, you may need to opt-in.  To do so, text the word “YES” to 68453 from each wireless device you wish to receive texts on.  If you have any questions, please contact your school secretary.

Health Update from St. Vincent

As a long-standing partner of Zionsville Community Schools, St.Vincent strives to provide relevant information for the health and well-being of students, staff, families and our community. In an effort to keep students healthy, as well as staff and parents informed, we want to ensure you have the most up-to-date information on hand, foot and mouth disease, which is spreading rapidly in central Indiana. Healthcare providers are also seeing a high number of patients with severe respiratory illnesses throughout the state, possibly due to Enterovirus D68. GROW Program Registration (EZChildTrack) 

NOTE: If this is your first enrollment in a GROW program you will need to "Open An Account" on the right hand side of the screen and select "click here to register". This will allow you to select the GROW program of your choice. Mozilla Firefox is the recommended browser. If you are a previous GROW participant you will need to contact the GROW office at to receive your new account number before activating the Parent Portal that will allow you to enroll.

Substitute Teachers Needed

Zionsville Community Schools is currently seeking highly qualified candidates to add to our Substitute Teachers pool.  Our substitute teachers are an important asset to our schools, require special attributes to enhance our students’ learning process, and usually exhibit the following personality traits: desire to work well with children ages 5-18, relate well to students, able to inspire a love of learning, good sense of humor, flexible, dedicated, patient, kind, fair, and consistent.

We offer a competitive pay rate of $72.00 for a full day and $41.50 for a ½ day.  ZCS retired teachers make $86.40 for a full day and $50 for a half day.
